Manage your plan and remove the app
In Settings, select Manage app plan. Shopify opens the plan page and handles monthly app billing. A private free plan can give management access when Shopify reports it as active.
Before removal
Export templates that you need. Record which products use custom options. Stop new custom orders before you uninstall the app: uninstall removes its checkout protection. Decide how you will handle open carts and existing orders. Keep linked products until those orders are complete. Do not rely on reinstall to keep your saved settings.
After reinstall
- Open Settings and select Manage app plan. Check the plan status in Shopify. If it shows an expiry notice, select and approve a plan to continue.
- In Settings, select Activate checkout protection. Wait for the active status and the product check to complete.
- Check your product options and templates. Restore exported templates if needed, then apply them to the correct products.
- Check the Product options block and Cart option summary embed in your theme. Save any changes.
- Test a custom order and an ordinary product before you accept new custom orders.
If you cancel on Shopify’s plan approval screen, the new plan is not approved. An existing plan can remain valid until its expiry date. Check the status shown by Shopify. Contact support if you need help.
